Graduate in Psychology and master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He currently works as a research assistant at the Interdisciplinary Center on Cognition for Teaching and Learning. At CIBPsi, he is a member of the Attention research line. His academic interests are linked to the neural processing of speech and selective attention. Thaiz is also part of the Society of Neurosciences of Uruguay (SNU) and the Uruguayan Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences (SUCCC).
