Natalia Colino is a mathematics teacher and graduated from the Instituto de Profesores Artigas in 2007. She subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Education, with a specialization in Educational Management, at the Catholic University of Uruguay in 2015. In 2016, she received specialized training in High Abilities and Giftedness from the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay. Currently, Natalia is pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of the Republic (UdelaR), focusing her research on the cognitive factors that contribute to high abilities in mathematics. Her doctoral studies are being supported by scholarships from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the Academic Commission for Postgraduate Studies (CAP-UdelaR).

Natalia works as a Giftedness/High Abilities specialist within the Inclusive Education Program of the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay. In addition, she leads and develops an institutional project on high abilities at the German School and High School. As an educator, she imparts her knowledge at the University of Montevideo, in courses on High Abilities in the context of Inclusive Education. In addition to her academic and teaching roles, Natalia is deeply involved in the mathematics community. She is a coach for Mathematical Olympiads and a member of the international jury at the Pan-American Women's Mathematical Olympiad (PAGMO).
