I am an anthropologist, graduated from the University of the Republic, with a Master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the same University. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biological Sciences, in the Neurosciences sub-area of the Basic Sciences Development Program (PEDECIBA). I have conducted research with indigenous communities in Chile, in the Metropolitan Region, in La Araucanía and in the Maule Region. My main interest is to link the field of anthropology with that of Neuroscience, through the study of ancestral games that include the use of spatial and problem-solving strategies. Through different projects I have directed the development of digital applications of ancestral games and an educational platform. I currently work at CICEA, in the line of Mathematical Cognition https://cognicionnumerica.cicea.uy/
