Psychopedagogue from the University of Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ), Argentina, and a master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of the Republic, (Udelar), Uruguay. At CIBPsi, he is a member of the Brain and Language research line. His academic interests are linked to the understanding of written language processing and the development of educational tools for initial literacy.

Soledad is also part of the Uruguayan Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences (SUCCC).
