The main lines of research that I carry out focus on theories of justice,theory of democracy and social pathologies. In the first case I have developed aconception of social justice articulated in two metrics, one of means and the other of capabilities,and I have incorporated the dimension of recognition as a determinant of possible designs institutional. With respect to the theory of democracy I have postulated a version of the concept of democratic ethics and its requirements through capacity development for citizens, and especially the role of civic virtues in deliberation processes.

Finally, I have proposed a way of understanding social pathologies as an imposition of a type of practical rationality in a social space regulated by another, which incorporates a micro-explanation in terms of cognitive failures.
