Psychologist – University of the Republic (UR) and PhD in Psychology – Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He was a professor of Basic Psychology at the UAB until 2010. He directed the Center for Basic Research in Psychology (CIBPsi) from 2010 to 2014. He is currently a Full Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of the UdelaR, Level II Researcher of the National System of Researchers from Uruguay (ANII) and Grade 4 Researcher of the PEDECIBA program.
